Kathy was a youthful American sailor, vacationer,
and mother of two children.
She attended the Hobie Catamaran Regatta,
staying at the EL CORTEZ HOTEL.

On a winter's day,
she was brutally raped and murdered
in the early morning hours near her room.

Javier Alejandro Rodriguez Romero,
Jorge Rodriguez Romero,
Maria Esthela Rodriguez Romero,
and Nepo Rodriguez.
They are responsible for selecting, training,
and supervising their security guards.
They have offered no
condolence or restitution.
 

In tourist-driven SAN FELIPE,
no mention of this tragedy was made
in local newspapers.
